Recently, I was given the opportunity to accompany national best-selling author William Heffernan to the Orange County Jail to speak to some inmates in a reading group. Here are some pictures from the event.
William Heffernan discusses his novels Unholy Order and Beulah Hill, and talks about the importance of reading and writing. You can check out some of Heffernan's novels on my "Books To Buy" page.
I introduce Nova and pass out free copies. I talk about the writing and publishing process. "If you want to write, there's no reason not to do it."
The group was very interested and entusiastic. They asked a lot of questions, and I think they got a lot out of the experience.
